Landscape & Home Remodel Trends for 2016

Every year vendors, manufacturers and, custom home builders from all over the world travel to IBS to show, people like us, what their hot new products are and where they see the industry going.

We sent our co-founders, Josh Rosenthal and Dave Milton, to IBS in Las Vegas (strictly business) to find their favorite trends & products from the 1500+ exhibitors.

Our favorite exhibitors we ran into and had to speak with were: The Outdoor Great Room, Airhome, and Biorev.

In typical Vegas fashion, Eco Minded Solutions enjoyed an amazing fire show, some magical musical gadgets, and a 3D illusion that you wouldn’t believe wasn’t real. Now we know what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. But we couldn’t resist!

While running around the showroom floor, Josh and Dave discovered numerous custom home constructions trends they knew Eco Minded Solutions could not only utilize, but also put our own Eco spin on.

The entire backbone of our business is innovative, eco-friendly techniques in landscape design and home remodeling.

The way we stay a top the industry trends, and ultimately drive them, is by continuously educating ourselves on what’s going on in the industry.

Outdoor Great Room’s Wave Fire Burner

Pretty basic and plain fire pit, huh? Yeah right! Did you see this thing? The Wave features 3 interwoven tubes of flaming awesomeness. The stainless steel tube burners create the visual effect of waves (hence the name).

Paired with a durable Polished Midnight Mist Supercast top, stucco base, and textured aluminum accent leg, this bad boy is a modern masterpiece.

We highly recommend using this fire pit of artwork for any backyard design. It looks best with the modern style, but honestly this thing is so cool you could put it anywhere and it’d still be stellar.

Airhome’s Wireless Home Audio System

Let’s be honest. As soon as we finish with your home remodel, you are going to have everyone over for a banging good house warming party. Well, what’s a party without music?

The Airhome’s Wirless Home Audio System sets itself apart with how easy it is to use and great integration with other music apps.

There aren’t numerous steps, inputs, and specific apps you have to use. Pick from your favorite Pandora stations, iTunes songs, and Podcasts.

There is no home remodel from our design portfolio we wouldn’t love to incorporate this into. It’s honestly way easier to install during construction because the walls and insulation are already being worked on.

We’ll just incorporate them into the design and build around them, instead of ripping holes in your already perfect ceilings.
