After an intense process of finding the right Design Build company we choose Eco Minded Solutions for a large home remodel project for our Carlsbad home. Landscape Renovation Achievement Award

In the Landscape Renovation Large category, Eco Minded Solutions earned an achievement award for the artistic rendition of this outdoor design.

Designed by Joe Dodd, this landscape features a creative xeriscape design that utilizes a native plant array of bamboo, succulents, and grasses.

With the style of the neighborhood in mind, we ensured that the curb appeal of this renovation was as chic and modern as the residents themselves.

The backyard features an layout made for beach-side entertainment, complete with water and fire features.

Commercial Construction Achievement Award

Designed by Rich Risner & Joe Dodd, this style is characterized by a modern minimalist emphasis with an elegant execution.

We are very excited to receive an achievement award for this classic commercial landscape renovation!

When we envision our commercial projects, we make sure that the outside of the building gives an excellent first impression to complement the business’ culture.

In the Design Build Construction Small Category, we took first place with our design by the one and only Shayna Orr.

This Bauman Coronado Intimate Garden provides a softness to the space, along with providing a sense of privacy. When space is a factor you have to get creative and this vertical succulent garden is a new concept that is beautifully arranged. View Full Project Gallery

Landscape Renovation Achievement Award

In the Landscape Renovation Large category, our very own Barry Thau received the Achievement Award for his Lamareux: La Jolla-Mediterranean design.

The large landscape renovation in La Jolla with a Mediterranean design provides texture to this space, along with a drought tolerant front yard that will pay off for years to come in water bills.

Founders Josh Rosenthal, Barry Thau, & David Milton began Eco Minded Solutions when San Diego was facing one of its worst droughts. They were united by a belief that the entire home, from the interior to exterior and the surrounding landscape, can be built in a beautiful but also environmentally conscious way.
