This all-inclusive retreat in Encinitas focused on a natural look while providing pops of color and a visual backdrop throughout the home.
Our design+build team utilized concrete, wood, and pebbles to create a minimal yet modern style for this home to transform the outdoor space into a modern beach resort. Many different types of rooms were designed in the backyard for cooking, relaxing, or play time. This transitional space seamlessly progresses from indoor to outdoor with many luxury amenities that emphasize the fire & water features.
Embracing a natural plant palette, this space was revamped for backyard entertainment. The color palette included bamboo for the fence screening from the back to the side yard and succulents along with grasses for a creative xeriscape design. By using the different shades of green, movement was created in the garden for continuous flow. Using the same plants at the entrance, it visually contrasted with the surrounding neighborhood to make this truly an artistic piece of landscape architecture in San Diego.
