Beach Oasis
The new front yard design of this Lakes Above Rancho Santa Fe home complements the architecture and creates a grand entryway while the backyard is transformed into a spa-like oasis.
Low-water, drought-resistant native plantings and large trees in the front yard will soon grow to balance the grandeur of this new home. A series of floating steps span the space and connect the sidewalk to the front door, and a mid-sized retaining wall frames the side of the yard.
The backyard is transformed into a spa-like retreat fit with a sand lounge area and custom water feature.
Our landscape designers featured this unique, geometric water feature crafted from smooth concrete and accented with patterned tile as a focal point both in and outside of the home. It creates a relaxing ambiance, bringing the ocean home with a refreshing splashing noise.
A Redwood deck provides warmth and contrast to the backyard and sets the stage for the perfect backyard barbecue. A custom island provides plenty of space for food preparation and gives the owner’s Big Green Egg a home.
Papyrus plants lining the fence will grow to create a delicate privacy screen and a magnolia tree will eventually grow tall to add variety of height.
