This landscape design project at Candlelight Drive is a stunning residential oasis nestled in the heart of La Jolla.

We transformed this newly purchased home into a pet-friendly haven while maximizing the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The backyard features the best in low-maintenance garden design, with native plants and other drought-tolerant vegetation being heavily utilized for a low-maintenance landscape. Our landscape designers look for plants that thrive in the Mediterranean climate. With San Diego’s mild winters and dry summers, we choose shrubs, trees, succulents, and other ground cover that thrive in dry conditions but can still survive in rainier seasons. This typically makes most plants with low water requirements perfect for Southern California landscape design.

Our landscape design team is committed to blending functionality with aesthetic appeal. The backyard, front yard, driveway, and entry were all meticulously planned and executed to create a harmonious flow throughout the property. Our innovative use of moso bamboo for the deck not only adds a touch of natural elegance but also reflects our dedication to eco-friendly solutions. The inclusion of artificial grass and thoughtfully selected plantings further enhances the outdoor experience, providing a lush and inviting environment for both the homeowners and their guests.
